If orange is the new black, then giving back is the new orange. And what's better than just giving back? GIVING BACK + PUPPIES! Enter paws4people®! paws4people® is an internationally accredited 501(c)(3) public charity based in Wilmington, North Carolina. We raise, train and place Service Dogs with Veterans and civilians struggling with mental & behavioral health, special needs children and sexual trauma survivors. There have been over 1,650 teams formed over the last 25 years with over 300 teams currently active. We are happy to say that 95% of our proceeds go directly towards our programming. Currently, paws4people® can only place 1 dog for every 50 applications we receive. The value of a Service or Facility Dog at the time of placement is over $100,000. In order to do more for those who need us, we need to continue to grow. That’s where you come in! We are thrilled to partner with Katie Sturino's community to help us name this sweet little puppy! Meet the newest addition to paws4people® ! This sweet little girl is a 15-week old golden retriever. What would YOU name this precious baby? She needs a name fit for a hero. Donate $10 to enter for a chance to name the puppy. There is no limit on the number of entries. This contest runs from Monday, October 21st through midnight on Wednesday, October 30th. Puppy Naming Contest Terms & Conditions
By participating in the Puppy Naming Contest, you agree that you are over the age of 18 and you understand that paws4people® reserves the right to eliminate any names we deem inappropriate. It is important to remember that every dog is an individual, sentient being, as such, not all dogs choose a working role. We cannot guarantee that any named puppy will graduate and become a Service or Facility Dog.
At the end date of this contest, a name will be randomly drawn. The winner will be contacted by paws4people® and will have 48 hours to respond with their name choice. If there is no response after this 48-hour window, paws4people® retains the right to choose another participant to select the puppy's name.
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for donations, gifts or other items as part of this contest.
